Aloha Waimea Elementary Iʻm Ms. Amber one of your school counselors and I'm coming to you long distance from home with all of us learning at home we can still stay connected by showing and sharing our Bronco of the month trait of responsibility and self-directed learning we are on a mission to find our Broncos that are showing responsibilty and being self-directed. Being the BOM blowing us away with the responsible behavior. So let's tell you about the criteria what we're looking for. Criteria number 1 Ms. H, tell us about it. Hi Broncos, part of being a responsible self-directed learner is logging in and making sure you have your supplies ready. Study hard! I'm going to show you two examples of being a self-directed responsible learner. Which example is the best example? Here we go! teacher: Do you have your book, notebook and pencil ready to go? what? what did you say? teacher; Your book, notebook and your pencil oh no, no I no more my stuff, wait I come back. Morning class. So nice to see you all. I want to make sure you have muted your cell, turn off all your music that you have your notebook and your pen or pencil with you and that you are prepared for class. yes, Ms. Christy, I have pen and my notebook. Oh wonderful responsible student that you are thank you. Hey! Which video do you think showed of responsible scholar? Was it video number 1 or video number 2? put your fingers up Ooh okay can't trick you. Video number 2 showed a responsible scholar ready to learn. we want to see videos of you ready to learn or a picture. criteria number 2. What else are we looking for? Whoa Broncos scholars were moving fast criteria number 2. Progress monitoring watch how you move through acellus and meeting your goals check your progress monitoring to make sure you make your gold stars. Next we will have a guest to tell you all about her progress monitoring stay tuned in the future for our guest broadcast Broncos! You could be one! You can check your progress in any subject. Iʻm almost there itʻs Wednesday and I have four steps or lessons left. I did it! I got 5 gold stars for the week 100% goal met I am the BOM Iʻm blowing myself away doing a great job.
